Kerry Goodhind is an experienced and diverse singer/songwriter from London who brings emotive music with poetic lyrics that transcend expectations and crosses genres effortlessly. Kerry comes with a solid showcase of her works from her early start at the piano to now and has worked with some of the UK's best producers, but she is at her best in front of a live audience where her music and talent really has the space to shine.

From electrifying full band rock and sexy bass driven dance tracks that light up the stage and raise excitement - to delicate, intimate acoustic sets that mesmorise listeners to feel every lyric, every note, her music evokes emotion and captivates the crowd.

With her powerhouse vocals that melt into delicate silk over a truly stunning piano sound that's rooted in her passion for classical music she has a totally unique and original sound that people say has the essence of some truly inspirational artists such as Annie Lennox, Florence Welch, Lana Del Ray and Kylie - with a classic beauty that has had fans likening her to some of the most beautiful women such as Jerry Hall, Madonna and even Marilyn Monroe.

Who are your biggest musical influences?

Growing up in English suburbia, I was privy to many eclectic styles of music, due to my parents varied preferences. I would say I have been inspired (and still am) by many varying artists from Elvis’ rich velvety tones, Dusty’s soulful melodies, most of the Motown Artists ( as Motown was my dad’s favourite era), Queen’s theatrical and heartfelt masterpieces, Etta James’  unique vocal style, even as modern as “The King’s of Leon’s” unique melodic formula, to London Grammar’s haunting tones, not to forget the Rock scene of Jon Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac,  to nineties classics such as Massive Attack, The Prodigy to M People, Shakespeare Sister, it’s so varied and exciting have only scratched the surface with these iconic few.

With her vocal described as "captivatingly beautiful all at once" Kerry delivers the rare and raw talent of a classically trained singer/songwriter with the timeless contemporary pop that energises the soul through the pain of her own life experiences. 

Performing the since the age of 5, writing since the age of 13 going on to receive a full scholarship to Trinity College of Music, Kerry graduated in singing, composition and classical piano. 

With many live performances around London with just her keyboard and a microphone promoting her first album 'Integrity' in 2016 she was invited to perform by 'Introducing' BBC South West going on to make an appearance at industry showcase Shepherd Bush Studios where she gained a strong following. Kerry showcases her talent best in live performance with early highlights including performances at The Bedford in Balham, The Troubador, Notting Hill Arts centre to name a few.

A second album entitled "Elevated" mastered by Geoff Pesche at Abbey Road Studios in 2018 is a reflection of her drive for perfection in her music, the album remains officially unreleased, it stands as a treasure to be discovered by fans looking for something completely original that won't be heard elsewhere. In 2019 Kerry released her first commercially successful single "Smoke and Mirrors" which was taken by the renowned DJ's Damon Hess and Slim Tim and the track successfully charted at number 11 in the UK Dance Charts. 

2020 brought the release of her stunning single "The Dawn" a powerful, soaring ballad deserving of a James Bond movie title theme - that lead to sold-out live performances planned for The Camden Chapel, Pizza Express Live in Holborn and the legendary Pheasantry in Chelsea which sadly never came to fruition due to the pandemic outbreak.

Kerry has taken this time to write some of her best works to date, she flies into 2021 truly owning her space with music that is fresh and captivating, traverses and binds genres with lyrics and sounds that are emotive in every way. A new EP is due for release soon alongside music videos that really bring these songs to life for those who crave more from their music, this new selection of tracks deliver a stunning explosion of sound that wraps you up and carries you away...
